    Notice of Romiley Cricket Club AGM 2011

    The Annual General Meeting of the club for the year ended 30th September 2011 will take place on. Thursday 24th November 2011. The meeting will take place in the clubhouse at 7.30pm.

    Social members and Vice Presidents are invited to attend but do not have voting rights.

    8. Amendments to Constitution

    Rule 9. EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE MEETINGS
        The ‘new’ Committee should meet in the first or second week of January, following the AGM in the preceding November, until then the ‘old Committee remains in place.
    The Committee may meet, adjourn and regulate its business as it thinks fit, and a quorum of ten Members shall be deemed sufficient. The Executive Committee shall at its first Meeting appoint from its own body a Chairman and Vice-Chairman for its term of office. Upon the request of any five members, the Chairman shall take the vote upon any motion by ballot. The elected Chairman shall have BOTH a vote and a casting vote where necessary.

    10. Summary of Proposals for Club Subscriptions in 2012

    The subscription year should run from 1st January 2012 until 31st December 2012, consistent with the clubs existing rules. Members, not explicitly resigning by December 31st 2011 will be deemed to be members (in the same category) for the 2012 subscription year and as such will be liable for 2012 subscriptions. Requests for payment will be issued in December 2011 and members failing to pay by 1st April 2021 will lose all rights associated with being a member, including playing rights, until such time as they have paid their subscriptions.  Please note all juniors will pay the same subs.
