Who are we

We are an ECB Focus Club located in Stockport, Cheshire. We have 3 senior teams and 8 junior teams ranging from Under 9 to Under 21s who play in the Derbyshire and Cheshire League, the Cheshire County Cricket League and the High Peak Cricket League. We also run a ladies team in collaboration with Bredbury St Marks Cricket Club.

Our teams have earned a reputation as quality opposition throughout the various leagues and competitions we play in. Our achievements this season include:

Senior

• Our 1st team finished as champions of the Derbyshire and Cheshire League Division 2 and will play in Division 1 next season
• Our 2nd team, in their first season in the highest division, managed to finish 4th.
• The 3rd team finished 3rd in their league - a great achievement after only two seasons of existence

Junior

• The Under 17's won the Knockout Cup competition. In a rain affected final, the match ended as a tie - read the match report here
• The Under 9's won every single league game they played and finished as runners up in the Cheshire Cricket Festival.

Ladies

2007 has seen the start of a new dawn at RCC, the clubs first ladies team. We now have an established group who, having played a number of friendlies this season, will now merge with Bredbury St Marks Ladies to form Werneth Ladies who will compete in the Cheshire Womens League from 2008.
